Transaction Limits & ID Requirements

2007 Money Laundering Regulations.

Central Bullion Ltd has a legal obligation to comply with UK Government and EU regulations on Anti Money Laundering, Fraud and Terrorism.

It is the companies responsibility to carry out the necessary checks and validations by ensuring that we have adequate systems and procedures in place to safeguard against money laundering and to combat financial crimes.

The 2007 Money Laundering Regulations require that appropriate ID (identification) is requested by us and received from our customers for certain transactions that take place.

The 2007 Money Laundering Regulations requires that appropriate due diligence is completed where we are: "carrying out an occasional transaction with a customer valued at £10,000 or more".

Transaction Limits

Private Customers can buy up to £10,000 per order online paying with a Debit or Credit Card.

Private Customers can buy up to £20,000 per order online paying by Bank Transfer.

Business Customers can buy unlimited Bullion when their account has been opened.

ID Requirements

Standard ID Required:

Private Customers buying over £5,000 in one order need to supply 1 form of Photo ID.

Private Customers buying up £10,000 in multiple orders need to supply 2 forms of ID.

Private Customers wanting to buy over £10,000 need to supply 2 forms of ID to un-restrict their account.

Business Customers need to supply 2 forms of Directors/Business Owners/Partners personal ID and Company ID. 

Occasional additional ID requirements:

Transactions are verified through the payment gateway ant-fraud screening processes and occasionally customers may be required to supply extra ID for user address verification purposes.

When a customer places multiple transactions in a 48 hour period from a single address, we may contact the customer to identify themselves.
