How to list products

On this page we show you how to quickly and easily List your Products for Sale on the Central Bullion marketplace.

IMPORTANT: Before we start, you should understand that there are TWO different ways that you can set the PRICES for your Products, depending on what the Products are: AUTO-CALC. Prices and STATIC Prices.

Auto-Calculated Prices (Auto-Calc.)

HOW IT WORKS

Auto-Calc Prices are generated by the Central Bullion system using the metal market Live Spot Price plus the % Margin that you have set.

Example: (presuming the Gold Live Spot Price is $60.50/g).

Your Product is GOLD, weighs 10 grams and you have set a Margin of 9%.

Calculation: 60.50 X 10 = 605.00 + 9% = $659.45 (the price the customer see's and pays).

METAL TYPES

Auto-Calc pricing can only be used for Metal Products wholly consisting of one of the following metals:

  • Gold (AU)
  • Silver (AG)
  • Platinum (PT)
  • Palladium (PD)
  • Rhodium (RH)
  • Ruthenium (RUTH)
  • Copper (CU)
  • Lead (LEAD)
  • Nickel (NI)
  • Aluminium (ALU)
  • Zinc (ZNC)
  • Tin (TIN)
  • Cobalt (CO)
  • Iridium (IRD).

NOTE: More Metal Types are to be integrated with Central Bullion for Auto-Calculation pricing as we develop additional market data feeds.

CURRENCIES

Auto-Calc pricing works with the following currencies:

  • AUD
  • CAD
  • CHF
  • EUR
  • GBP
  • USD
  • JPY

NOTE: More Currencies are to be integrated with Central Bullion for Auto-Calculation as we develop additional market data feeds.

CUSTOMERS PAYING WITH OTHER CURRENCIES. (135+ local Currencies).

Customers payments are not restricited to the auto calculated display prices and can pay in their local currency. When a customer uses an alternative currency, it is converted by Stripe when the payment is made.

DISCOUNT INCENTIVE PRICE LEVELS. When you use Auto-Calc Pricing, you can also set multiple Discount Incentive Price Levels.

DISCOUNT CODES. In addition you can give your Customers further Discounts by supplying them with Discound Codes that they can use at the checkout to reduce the price that they pay for the Product/s.

Static Prices (Static.)

HOW IT WORKS

Static Pricing is the normal way of selling products on the internet.

Each product is given a set price that the customer see's and pays. The fluctuations in metal market Live Spot Prices does not have any effect on the static prices.

As a seller you set the price of your product and that price remains static so the customer always pays the amount that you have pre-set.

CURRENCIES

In the 'Select Currency' dop down menu, Customers can choose to view all products with pricing displayed in any of the following currencies:

  • AUD
  • CAD
  • CHF
  • EUR
  • GBP
  • USD
  • JPY

NOTE: More Currencies are to be integrated with Central Bullion for Auto-Calculation as we develop additional market data feeds.

Creating Shipping Rates for your Products

As a Vendor on the Central Bullion Marketplace, you are able to list and sell products with weights ranging from light (less than a gram) up to very heavy (kilograms) and to ship your products to customers in Countries Worldwide using your own choice of shipping company/courier, hence normal flat rate shipping is unsuitable. Therefore we make it easy for you to use 'Table Rate Shipping' which is an intelligent solution for advanced shipping cost calculations.

WHAT IS TABLE RATE SHIPPING ?

Table Rate Shipping is a quick and easy way in which you can set rules within a simple 'Table' to calculate advanced shipping costs for all of your Products.

HOW DO YOU ADJUST THE SHIPPING RATES ?

You can add, amend and remove rules in the Table by either:

  • Uploading (importing) a CSV file.

The intelligent marketplace software, calculates and diplays the appropriate shipping rates for your products, using the information (rules) in the Table and the shipping weight of your products.
